Questions worth asking

Why does my business feel harder than it should be?
Usually it’s not a discipline problem — it’s that the same manual steps repeat for every client, every lead, every email. Founder Friction is about finding the specific step that’s costing you the most hours and fixing that one first.
Do I need to automate everything at once?
No. Pick the one process you dread most this week. Fix that. The compounding comes from doing this repeatedly, not from a single overhaul.
What tools do you actually recommend?
We test and use a small set of tools ourselves before recommending them — covering automation, email/marketing, and project management today, with more added as we find tools worth vouching for. See the full, current list on our tools page.
I’m a solo operator with no team — is this still for me?
Yes — most of what’s here assumes you’re the only employee. “Delegation” in this context often means handing work to a tool or a contractor, not building an org chart.
How is this different from generic business advice sites?
Most business sites are written for an audience that already has a team and a budget. This one assumes neither. Every article is built around one real bottleneck and one concrete way through it — not general motivation.
